Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, Samuel Coletta-Bates has known he wanted to be a filmmaker since he was 12. Years of making videos and short films made him realize his true passion was cinematography, which he has been practicing consistently since his enrollment at Ohio University’s HTC Film Program in 2021. Since his first semester, Samuel has worked on over 30 film sets throughout his education and continues to shoot and operate in the Ohio area.
